<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a material for a hole-injection transport layer which allows the formation of a hole-injection transport layer according to a solution-coating technique and the improvement of the life of a device, a method for manufacturing the material, an ink for hole-injection transport layer formation which allows the formation of a hole-injection transport layer according to the solution-coating technique and the improvement of the life of a device, a method of manufacturing the ink, a device with a longer life having the material or ink used therein, and a method of manufacturing the device. <P>SOLUTION: A material for a hole-injection transport layer consists of a reaction product resulting from the reaction between a molybdenum complex and a compound expressed by the chemical formula (1), provided that in the chemical formula (1), R<SP POS="POST">1</SP>, R<SP POS="POST">2</SP>, X<SP POS="POST">1</SP>and X<SP POS="POST">2</SP>represent an oxygen atom, a sulfur atom, or a direct coupling. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
