<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting fixture for visible light communication capable of reducing noises generated while transmitting modulation signals which are superimposed on illumination light and easily ensuring insulation in a signal transmitting part. <P>SOLUTION: A lighting fixture 1 for visible light communication includes: an illumination apparatus body 10 that has a light source 11 including an LED 2; and a visible light communication signal output section 30 that outputs a modulation signal to the illumination apparatus body. The illumination apparatus body includes: a power supply circuit 3 that modulates light from the light source; a switch element Q1 that modulates an output current supplied from the power supply circuit to the light source; a resistor Rx connected to the switch element in parallel therewith; and a photocoupler PC that receives the modulation signal from the visible light communication signal output section. The visible light communication signal output section is provided outside the illumination apparatus body to transmit the modulation signal via the photocoupler. In this structure, since only a minute current flows from the visible light communication signal output section to the illumination apparatus body to drive the photocoupler, noise emission is reduced, the signal transmitting part is reliably insulated, and the circuit configuration is simplified. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
