<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform safety control of a fixing part by a plurality of control means independent from each other. <P>SOLUTION: In an image forming device 1, a main CPU 11 supplies electric power to a fixing heater for generating heat corresponding to power supply to heat a fixing roller and fixing a toner image to a sheet with the transferred toner image, through a fixing-heater control circuit 31 on the basis of a detection temperature of a fixing thermistor 32 for detecting a temperature of the fixing roller, and a light detection CPU 21 stops the power supply to the fixing heater by the fixing-heater control circuit 31 regardless of the power supply control by the main CPU11 when the detection temperature of the fixing thermistor 32 exceeds a predetermined temperature. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
