<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a dust collector compact by reducing the dimensions in the vertical direction. <P>SOLUTION: The dust collector 1 includes: a cylindrical tank 5 forming a main cyclone for circulating air sucked from a suction port 9 along the inner peripheral surface; and a body 6 placed over the tank 5, and having a motor 12 provided inside and having a suction fan 14 on an output shaft 13, and an air intake 16 opened inside the tank 5. Dust separated in the tank 5 with the circulation of air is stored inside the tank 5. Further, small cyclones 23, 23, ... are disposed circumferentially on a partition board 21 for dividing the tank 5 and the body 6. In the dust collector, the motor 12 is disposed at a position where the suction fan 14 projects into the tank 5 on the inner side of the arrangement of the small cyclones 23 so that the suction fan 14 overlaps the small cyclones 23 in the radial direction of the tank 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
