<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely prevent the detachment from a hook, of a grip of a shopping bag or the like hooked by the hook of a hook device for a vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: A hook device 13 for a vehicle is installed within a vehicle cabin to make it possible to hold a grip Ba of a shopping bag B or the like. The device includes a base 14 fixed to a vehicle body and a hook portion 15 supported to the base 14 so as to be turnable between a projection position and a storage position. Accordingly, the hook portion 15 is turned to the projection position so that the grip Ba of the shopping bag B or the like can be hooked thereto and then the hook portion 15 is turned to the storage position so as to be locked to the base 14.
