<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce air-column-tube resonance sound without reducing braking performance on a dry road surface. <P>SOLUTION: In a tread portion 10 including land portions (ribs) 14 held between peripheral grooves 12, sipes 20 are provided to cross the ribs 14 and have both ends opened in peripheral grooves 14. The sipes 20 are set to extend in a direction inclined to a tire width direction. Each of the sipes 20 includes a first wide portion 22 which extends in a sipe length direction G in a position at a distance h1 in a sipe depth direction H from a tread surface 11, and has both ends opened in the peripheral direction grooves 12.
