<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a method for manufacturing a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery in which output characteristics can be improved while reduction in a generation amount of gas in overcharge is prevented; and a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery. <P>SOLUTION: In one embodiment of the present invention, a method for manufacturing a battery 1 includes: a firing step of producing a tungsten-added fired product obtained by mixing a nickel compound and a lithium compound to be fired; a water washing step of water washing the fired product; and a positive electrode plate preparation step of preparing a positive electrode plate 10 by forming a positive electrode active material layer including a positive electrode active material particle on an aluminum foil, the positive electrode active material particle comprising a tungsten-added lithium transition metal composite oxide obtained after the fired product has been water washed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
