<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine whether or not calibration which is not dependent on the skill of an administrator is required, at a low cost. <P>SOLUTION: A determination method for determining whether or not calibration is required includes: a setting step for setting a threshold of determining whether or not calibration is required; an acquisition step for recording a check chart consisting of a plurality of patches composed of a smaller number of patches than the number of patches composing a calibration chart, and composed of the patches composing the calibration chart, and acquiring a colorimetric value by measuring the respective patches of the check chart by colorimetric means; and a determination step for determining whether or not calibration is required on the basis of a prestored target colorimetric value of the patches of a check chart, the colorimetric value acquired in the acquisition step, and the threshold. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
