<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cap for drink container including a lock member with sufficient elasticity and rigidity, while enhancing flexibility in design of its appearance. <P>SOLUTION: A locking mechanism 18 retaining a lid body 13 in a closed state comprises: a U-shaped lock 21 which includes a first arm part 36 and has a substantial U shape; a support part 30 corresponding to the U-shaped lock 21; and an engagement receiver 33. The U-shaped lock 21 comprises: a rigid lock external member 37; and an elastic lock engagement member 40 to be engaged with the lock external member 37. The lock external member 37 has a through-hole 44 formed in the first arm part 36. The lock engagement member 40 has a substantial U shape, and has a second arm part 39 corresponding to the first arm part 36, and has, at both ends of the second arm part 39, a lock engagement projection 46 inserted into the through-hole 44 from the outside. The lock engagement projection 46 is elastically engaged with a first engagement projection receiving part 47 of the engagement receiver 33, while retaining the lid body 13 in a closed state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
