<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal enclosed switchgear which prevents water from intruding from a front surface door and a rear surface door when water intrudes. <P>SOLUTION: A metal enclosed switchgear includes: a box 1 housing a stored apparatus 8 such as a circuit breaker; sheath doors, such as a front surface door 2 and a rear surface door 3, which are provided at the box 1 so as to open and close; and a gasket 6 provided at the inner side of the sheath door, is swollen by absorbing water, and seals between the box 1 side and the door side.
