<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent light emission void without unnecessarily elongating a control time of a light emitting sequence in a wireless light-emitting system of a stroboscope. <P>SOLUTION: The image pickup apparatus includes at least either of a light-emitting part 2 for emitting light, a drive circuit 1 for driving the light-emitting part, and an interface part 3 capable of connecting an external light-emitting device 10. The image pickup apparatus further includes: a control part 4 for controlling a start of light emission and an end of the light emission of the light-emitting part or the external light-emitting device; and a storage part 5 for storing the total number of light emissions of the light-emitting part or the external light-emitting part. The control part controls the start of the light emission and the end of the light emission of the light-emitting part and the external light-emitting device such that, as the total number of light emissions of the light-emitting part or the external light-emitting device increases, a time interval from when causing the light-emitting part or the external light-emitting device to perform a first light emission till causing it to perform a second light emission becomes longer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
