<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process for treating a flue gas from a waste incinerator, which can efficiently perform denitrification to a degree enough to clear the flue gas regulation standards, can dispense with a flue gas heater necessary in a conventional catalytic denitrification method, and can attain compaction of catalytic denitrification equipment and to provide a system therefor. <P>SOLUTION: Part of the flue gas discharged from an incinerator 2 for incinerating waste is extracted through a branching conduit 10 at a temperature region as high as about 300°C and is denitrified in catalytic denitrification equipment 12. It is desirable that a dust collector 11 which removes dust from the flue gas extracted through the branching conduit 10 is provided upstream of the catalytic denitrification equipment 12. It is also desirable that the second economizer 13 is disposed which heats water supplied to a boiler 3 by using the waste heat of the flue gas which has been denitrified in the catalytic denitrification equipment 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
