<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing metal nanoparticles capable of continuously producing the metal nanoparticles with monodispersity in a single nano size. <P>SOLUTION: Because a solution containing hydrazine complex obtained at a first mixing step P1 is instantly mixed with an alkali solution by letting jet flows thereof collide with each other at a second mixing step P2, time for grain growth initiated under an alkaline condition is drastically reduced, and thus excellent metal nanoparticles with monodispersity in the single nano size are obtained. Moreover, because a mechanism of producing the metal nanoparticles using hydrazine as a reducing agent is a reduction of a hydroxide by the hydrazine released from a ligand substitution reaction between the hydrazine complex and an alkali, concentration of the reducing agent in the solution can be lower compared with a method for producing the metal nanoparticles directly from a metallic salt solution, and thus the resulting metal nanoparticles can have lower aggregability and better dispersibility. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
