<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust valve, in which a float promptly emerges to close a valve port when water flows into the valve, preventing water leakage. <P>SOLUTION: The exhaust valve includes a valve chamber 4 formed inside a casing composed of a body 1 and a lid 2. An inlet 5 and a second inlet 12 are formed as eccentric from the center axis of the valve chamber 4, in a lower part of the valve chamber 4; and a valve seat 7 opened with a valve port 8 that communicates with an outlet 6 is formed in an upper side of the valve chamber 4, opposite to the inlet 5 and the second inlet 12 with respect to the center axis of the valve chamber 4. A spherical float 9, which directly opens and closes the valve port 8 with the outer surface of the float, is disposed in a free state in the valve chamber 4. An inclined face 11 is formed on a bottom of the valve chamber 4, for positioning a side part on the outer circumference of the float 9 in a descending position to be above a part of the inlet 5. The second inlet 12 is formed in the inclined face 11 formed on the bottom of the valve chamber 4, the second inlet opening toward the valve port 8 in the upper side of the valve chamber 4. The second inlet 12 is closed by the descending float 9 when a water level in the valve chamber 4 is low, and is opened by the float 9 that emerges when the water level in the valve chamber 4 rises. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
