<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an increase in storage capacity of an image display device caused by mounting multi-language OSD data. <P>SOLUTION: A projector 1 includes an initial setting program P1, a compressed main program P2, and storage means 21 for storing OSD language data L1 to L8.
