<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator maintenance device capable of improving working efficiency and safety in maintenance and check of a shock absorber right under a balance weight. <P>SOLUTION: The elevator maintenance device includes the shock absorber 3 disposed right under the balance weight 2, and a screen 5 for inhibiting a worker's entry into a descent area of the balance weight 2. The device includes an opening 7 formed in the screen 5, a door 8 openably disposed to the opening 7, and a switch operated by the door 8 when the door 8 is in an open state to cut off a power supply of the elevator, wherein the maintenance work of the shock absorber 3 is performed through the opening 7 while opening the door 8. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
