<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner capable of uniformly dispersing an antibacterial agent over an entire drain water in a drain pan, and capable of effectively controlling the propagation of a bacterium in the drain pan. <P>SOLUTION: An air conditioner includes a heat exchanger, a drain pan for reserving condensate as a drain water by receiving the condensate generated in the heat exchanger, a drain pump for discharging the drain water in the drain pan, and an antibacterial agent provided while floating in the drain water in the drain pan. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
