<p>A substrate of a liquid crystal display device, a liquid crystal display device, and a manufacturing method thereof. The substrate comprises a flat layer (40) formed on the substrate. The border of an area, required to be coated with an alignment liquid, on the flat layer (40) is provided with a groove (54) for preventing the alignment liquid from dispersing. The groove (54) is formed on a surface of the flat layer (40). Since the flat layer (40) on the substrate of the liquid crystal display device is provided with the groove (54) for preventing the alignment liquid from dispersing, the even border (51) of an alignment layer (50) is formed on the substrate, so as to increase the range of an active area and decrease the border width of the liquid crystal panel. Further, due to the preventing performed by the groove (54), unreliable bonding of the frame glue incurred by the flowing of the alignment liquid to an arrangement area of the frame glue is avoided, so that the groove (54) can shift towards the frame glue area, that is, the border (51) of the alignment layer (50) can shift towards the frame glue area, so as to further increase the range of the active area and decrease the border width of the liquid crystal panel.</p> |
