HIGH PERFORMANCE COPPER ALLOY

摘要

High performance copper obtained through continuous casting comprising multiple chemical elements in concentrations ranging from 0.001 to 0.161% atomic weight, where said essential chemical elements comprise a group of metallic elements formed by Zn, Pb, Sn, Ni and Ag; a group of semimetallic elements or metalloids formed by Sb and As; and oxygen. The high performance copper alloy of the present invention can be applied to components of high speed railroad lines due to its high mechanical and thermal properties without detriment to the electrical conductivity. These physical properties give the material excellent resistance to wear and zero creep when subjected to stress and temperature for long periods of time.
