PURPOSE: A mechanical performance evaluation method of an opening and closing device and the opening and closing device for implementing the method are provided to include a pair of main connection units, thereby implementing an exact diagnosis. CONSTITUTION: A pair of contact units(12,14) move interactively. The contact units are formed between an opening position and a closing position. A support arm(16) is arranged in a first contact unit. A driving machine(22) is combined to the support arm. A rotation pole shaft is combined to the support arm.
