The method involves providing a coupling body blank (12), and forming a set of peripheral segments at a peripheral section of the blank, where the segments define a connection surface. A friction lining is formed on a surface of the blank. Another set of peripheral segments is formed at the peripheral section for defining a cone surface. The two sets of peripheral segments are distributed over the circumference of a coupling body, where a flat sheet element is provided as the blank. The blank is produced by stamping a flat metal sheet material. An independent claim is also included for a synchronization device of a motor car transmission. |
