PURPOSE: A mechanical performance evaluation method of an opening/closing device and the opening/closing device capable of implementing the method are provided to combine a shaft and a driving machine to a support arm, thereby facilitating the closing of a circuit breaker. CONSTITUTION: A pair of contact unit is comprised to move reciprocally. A first contact unit(14) is formed in an upper end of a support arm(16). A driving machine(22) is connected to the support arm. At least one load(60) combines the driving machine to the support arm in a rotation method. An energy storage system disposes the main contact units on a closing position.
