An electric parking brake having a manual release device of a vehicle is provided to improve convenience by enabling a driver to release a parking brake manually and by enabling manual brake release force to operate a gear transmitting driving force of a motor. An electric parking brake having a manual release device of a vehicle comprises: a motor(1) providing locking force and releasing force of a parking brake, a gear unit including an operation gear(3) providing tensile force, a screw rod(4) penetrating into the operating gear and providing tensile force directly, an equalizer(6) positioned between the screw rod and a parking cable(7) and a manual brake release device(8) including a torque pulley(9) engaged with a driving gear(2) at a constant interval, an operating cable(10) exposed toward an opened aperture channel(5a) of a housing(5) and a return unit generating restoration force for returning the torque pulley to an initial position. |
