PURPOSE: A tongue-machine interface device and method based on brain waves and a driving device and an operation method using the same are provided to improve convenience and sanitation by measuring a signal on a scalp. CONSTITUTION: A brain wave detection unit(110) includes a plurality of electrodes attached on a scalp. Each electrode provides the voltage corresponding to a measured brain wave. A determination unit(130) calculates voltage difference by comparing a plurality of voltages. The determination unit determines the position of a tongue.
