摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser machining apparatus for achieving machining with constant quality irrespective of the difference in height of a machining target surface even when scanners having different response characteristics are mixedly used. <P>SOLUTION: The laser machining apparatus includes: a laser drive control section 4 for controlling a laser oscillation section and a laser beam scanning section; a machining condition setting section 3C for setting laser beam output conditions, a machining pattern on an X-Y coordinate plane and a three-dimensional shape thereof as the machining conditions for machining workpiece into a desired machining pattern; a correlation storing section for storing the position of X-Y coordinates of the machining pattern set by the machining condition setting section 3C and the position of a Z coordinate obtained by projecting the X-Y coordinates in a perpendicular direction for the three-dimensional shape of the machining pattern; and a machining amount correcting means 80M for automatically correcting the machining conditions set by the machining condition setting section 3C so that a machining amount on a machining target surface can approximate to a constant value in response to the ratio of the relative movement amount of the Z-axis direction to the X-axis direction and/or Y-axis direction of the laser optical scanning section in spatial coordinates forming the machining pattern set in the machining condition setting section 3C. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p>
