PURPOSE: An elevator governor is provided to prevent security accidents in advance by braking an elevator normally within a prescribed speed range. CONSTITUTION: A base is installed at the lower part of a frame. A rotational pulley is rotated by a governor rope. A first over-speed detection switch(5) outputs an electrical braking signal. A second over-speed detection switch(6) is operated mechanically. A braking part(7) brakes the governor rope mechanically. |
