PURPOSE: A contents related information providing device based on a keyword which a user selects and a method thereof are provided to analyze similarity between contents which a user uses and a plurality of other contents, thereby recommending related contents. CONSTITUTION: A keyword receiving unit(110) receives a keyword for contents which a user selects from a user terminal. An abstract information generating unit(120) generates abstract information including a keyword group. A similarity calculating unit(130) calculates similarity among a plurality of the contents based on the keyword group included in the abstract information generated for a plurality of the contents.
