PURPOSE: A ceiling structure is provided to reduce interlayer noise by moving air through a step shield side wall and by reducing an air spring effect. CONSTITUTION: A ceiling structure comprises a well ceiling panel(101), a main ceiling panel(102), and a step shield side wall(103). The well ceiling panel is located in the lower part of a ceiling slab(10), and the main ceiling panel is located in the lower part of the well ceiling panel. The main ceiling panel forms an opening(110) corresponding to the well ceiling panel. The step shield side wall is comprised of a permeable material and closes between the well ceiling panel and the main ceiling panel. The step shield side wall comprises a filter filtering foreign substances. The ceiling structure comprises a hanger(104) for the main ceiling panel, a ceiling joist(105) for the main ceiling panel, a hanger for the well ceiling panel, and a ceiling joist for the well ceiling panel.
