A package assembly 100 positions a product 180 and a light source 160 within a blister pack 120, in which the product 180 is illuminated by the light source 160. The product 180 may contain a colour changing portion 186 that reacts to the light from the light source, and may comprise wheels or a doll with hair. There may be an opening 18 which corresponds to the position of the light source 160. The light source may be a LED with a power source and actuator and may emit in the UV spectrum. The blister pack 120 may comprise a top edge 114 which may have a groove 116, and may be constructed from a translucent material. This package assembly 100 is for displaying the contents 180 of the package and demonstrating the colour-change region 186 within a retail environment.
