Method and device for compensating amplification variations in an amplifier circuit

The method involves controlling a high-frequency component (4) and attenuator (5) with temperature-dependent control voltages (UhfT, UvgT). The voltage (UhfT) is generated by impressing temperature dependency on a control voltage (Uopt) to adjust an optimum operating point of the high frequency component. The voltage (UvgT) is generated by impressing temperature dependency on another preset control voltage (Uvg-t) for the attenuator. The preset voltage is determined by adjusting it in an iterative method such that output power of an amplifier circuit reaches a level at a constant input power. An independent claim is also included for a device for compensating amplification variations in an amplifier circuit.
