PURPOSE: An advertisement image providing method and a streaming service apparatus using the same are provided to remove an image disconnection phenomenon which is caused by a buffering in a process which converts video data and an advertisement image by transmitting the video data and the advertisement image through one streaming session. CONSTITUTION: A streaming service apparatus(1) includes a first encoder(10), a second encoder(20), and a streaming server(30) and provides a streaming image to a client(2). The first encoder encodes video data for a service. The second encoder encodes an advertisement image. The streaming server processes the encoded video data which is outputted from the first encoder and the encoded video data which is outputted from the second encoder into one streaming image by connecting successively and transmits the streaming image to the client through one streaming session.
