PURPOSE: A mixed micelle containing retinyl palmitate, phospholipid, polyhydric alcohol, surfactant, ethanol, and purified water is provided to produce a cosmetic product. CONSTITUTION: A mixed micelle contains 0.01-10.0 wt% of retinyl palmitate, 1.0-10.0 wt% of phospholipid, 1.0-50.0 wt% of polyhydric alcohol, 1.0-10.0 wt% of surfactant, 1.0-50.0 wt% of ethanol, and purified water. The phospholipid is lecithin, hydrolecithin, lysolecithin, or hydroxylated lecithin. The lecithin is phosphatidyl choline, phosphatidyl ethanolamine, phosphatidyl inositol, phosphatidyl serine, or phosphatidyl glycerin. The polyhydric alcohol is glycerin, butylenes glycol, propylene glycol, or dipropylene glycol. A cosmetic composition with improved stability of retinyl palmitate contains 0.1-10.0 wt% of the mixed micelle. |
