<p>Pneumatic tyre with built-in self-sealing layer comprising an outer rubbery tread, a carcass reinforcement, a gastight layer positioned on the inside relative to the carcass reinforcement, a protective layer positioned innermost and a self-sealing layer adjacent to the protective layer and positioned on the inside relative to the gastight layer, characterized in that said protective layer is a thermoplastic film comprising a copolymer containing hard blocks and soft blocks corresponding to the formula: -(BR-BS)n- where: BR represents a hard block composed of a polyamide or of a blend of polyamides; BS represents a soft block composed of a polyether, a blend of polyethers or a polyether/polyester copolymer; and n represents the number of (BR-BS) units of said block copolymer; such as, for example, a poly(ether-block-amide) copolymer.</p> |
