[Also in Group XXVIII] An air conditioning unit comprises a motor-driven centrifugal fan 12 having its inlet 13 connected by a compartment 8 of a casing 1 to an evaporator 3 of a refrigerating circuit and having its outlet 10 discharging the so-cooled air to the atmosphere to be conditioned. A portion of the fan discharge is diverted through a duct 14 directed against the refrigerant compressor 2 to effect cooling thereof. The compressor, fan and evaporator are housed in a cabinet 1 having a sloping front 9 in which is provided the outlet 10. |
