SWASH PLATE TYPE COMPRESSOR

PURPOSE: A swash plate type compressor is provided to prevent pulsation of refrigerant or roaring sound due to the pulsation caused by excessively large opening degrees of a valve and to prevent poor flow at the valve caused by excessively small opening degrees of the valve relative to the flow rate of refrigerant. CONSTITUTION: A swash plate type compressor comprises a housing, a rotary shaft, a swash plate, and multiple pistons. The swash plate is mounted at an angle on the rotary shaft and rotated along with the rotary shaft. The pistons reciprocate linearly along the inner peripheral surface of a cylinder block by the rotation of the swash plate, thereby discharging refrigerant drawn in through an intake port formed in a rear head to outside through a discharge port of the rear head. An intake check valve(50) is installed in the intake port of the rear port to change the elastic coefficient of springs(55,59) in proportion to the intake flow rate of refrigerant through the intake port.
