PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technology for enabling a server system to properly handle and respond to a fluctuation in the number of accesses by adjusting the load and performance of the server in accordance with a channel, a user attribute, or the like. SOLUTION: In the server system, a PL (presentation) server (group) 100 and a restriction management part 500 connected to the PL server 100 manage the current or previous number N of logins and an upper limit H for the number N of logins concerning a plurality of sessions in a plurality of channels between a plurality of users and client terminals. The PL server 100, at login for access from the client terminal, compares the number N of logins with a corresponding upper limit H, for example, for each channel, and imposes restriction so as to reject the log-in when the number N is equal to or higher than the upper limit H.
