PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gateway device allowing safe and efficient access to a site from which a desired content can be acquired. SOLUTION: The gateway device includes: a site information decision part 11 confirming whether or not reliability evaluation of a site to be accessed is completed or not according to an access request to the site received from a client terminal, and specifying an alternative site based on an evaluation result and information on the site to be accessed when the reliability evaluation is not completed; and an access control part 13 executing an access to the site to be accessed when the completion of the reliability evaluation and high reliability are confirmed by the site information decision part 11, and notifying the client terminal about the specified alternative site when the alternative site is specified.
