The device (2) has an unlocking switch component (1) connected with a locking element of an electrically switchable locking device which is switched between locking and release positions. A manual switch operating element is supported in a switch housing portion of the unlocking switch component in a movable manner. The manual switch operating element and switch housing portion are provided in off-state and on-state by a selector gate device. The manual switch operating element is formed as switching key which is manually actuated by axial pressure operation.
