The method involves creating a channel model for the multi-way end path from the position of a transmitter and a receiver in an environment, and equalizing the radio signals transmitted from the transmitter to the receiver, using the channel model. The channel model is determined using the data obtained from a landscape model of the environment. An independent claim is included for apparatus for equalizing radio signals.
