Class 20(4) A mesh reinforcement for concrete has, in addition to the usual single bars 1, further bars 2 which are laid in contact with at least some of the bars 1 and are spotwelded to the crossbars 3. This increases the steel crosssection at places where the leading-movements require it. The additional bars 2 may extend over a portion only of the length of the bars 1, or two groups of bars 1 of equal lengths may be secured to the end bars 3, the groups overlapping in the zone requiring additional reinforcement. |
