PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flat die for extrusion which has a lip bending adjustment mechanism and a lip displacement imparting mechanism, and can inhibit ununiform bending of a lip part in a short-side direction of a slit. SOLUTION: This flat die 1 for extrusion includes: a pair of die bodies 7 which each include a pair of lip parts 3 arranged opposite to each other so as to form a slit aperture 2 for forming a sheet-shaped material by making a molten material pass it through the slit; and a plurality of lip bending adjustment mechanisms 4 juxtaposed in the longitudinal direction of the slit aperture 2, at one of the lip parts 3a of the paired lip parts 3 and also, for adjusting a lip bending in the short-side direction of the slit aperture 2, at a part of one of the lip parts 3a in the longitudinal direction of the slit aperture 2. In addition, a retainer 13 is arranged which retains all of the lip bending adjustment mechanisms 4 and can move in a first direction "x1" intersecting with the molten material formed in the sheet shape, to the another lip part 3b of the paired lip parts 3.
