A stable antioxidant emulsion has a continuous aqueous phase, and dispersed therein an oil phase of diisobutyl adipate or ethyl hexyl diphenyl phosphate, and up to 100% by weight thereof, of 2,6-di-t-butyl-4-methyl phenol, and up to 100% by weight of the phenol, of a fatty acid ester of poly-oxyethylene sorbitan as an emulsifier, e.g. the mono-oleate, -laurate, -palmitate, or -stearate.
