PURPOSE: A motor driving unit capable of overvoltage protection is provided to prevent damage of an internal circuit of a BLDC motor by detecting overvoltage of a BLDC motor. CONSTITUTION: A motor is rotated by supplied power. A motor condition confirmation unit(350) judges a location of rotation. A motor control unit(320) outputs an output control signal according to a location of rotation of a motor. A power supply control unit(310) controls power supply to a motor according to the output control signal. An overvoltage protection unit(330) resets the motor control unit when detecting overvoltage.
