A pulp distribution device (10) is provided for distribution of cellulose pulp having a concentration of 2-13% to a rotatable first permeable surface (21) in an apparatus (100) for washing cellulose pulp. The pulp distribution device comprises an inlet (11) for incoming pulp, an outlet (12) for output of pulp to the first permeable surface, a first rotatable distribution means (13") arranged in the pulp distribution device for longitudinal distribution of pulp, and a second permeable surface (14") arranged to allow throughflow of filtrate from pulp in the pulp distribution device, whereby an initial dewatering of the pulp takes place in the pulp distribution device. By means of the invention the initial dewatering in the washing apparatus is increased, which inter alia implies higher capacity of the washing apparatus and higher washing efficiency. |
