COMPOSITION FOR PREVENTING OR TREATING INFLAMMATORY DISEASES COMPRISING INHIBITOR OF GADD45 GAMMA AS AN ACTIVE INGREDIENT

PURPOSE: A composition containing GADD45 gamma inhibitor for preventing or treating inflammatory diseases is provided to suppress inflammation by regulating generation of TNF-alpha and IL-6, and to be used as a therapeutic agent for inflammatory diseases. CONSTITUTION: A pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating inflammatory diseases contains an inhibitor of GADD45 gamma expression or activation as an active ingredient. GADD 45 gamma has an amino acid sequence of sequence number 1. A method for screening a preventive or therapeutic agent for inflammatory diseases comprises: a step of treating a test material to a GADD45 gamma-expressing cell line; a step of measuring GADD45 gamma expression or activation level in the cell line; and a step of selecting the test material with reduced expression or activation level compared with a control group.
