PURPOSE: A ceramic metal halide lamp forms the rating lamp electric power ranging from 450W to 1500W, preventing back arc. CONSTITUTION: A light emitting tube (2) has a main tube portion (21) and a capillary tube portion (22). The capillary portion is installed at the both ends of axis direction of the main tube portion. An electrode is inserted into the capillary tube portion. A first coil is reeled in the top-end part of the electrode. A second coil protrudes toward the main tube portion from the capillary portion, ranging from 1mm to 3mm.
