PURPOSE: A three-dimensional television is provided to assign a bigger three-dimensional effect to an image at the other side symmetrical to a viewer when the television viewer is positioned at one side with respect to the center of the television, thereby providing the viewer with a feeling to rotate the screen of the television in a direction for comfortably watching the television. CONSTITUTION: A signal processing part(30) processes television reception signals. A control part(50) controls a television according to an input signal. A signal input part(60) receives various signals. A position detection part(90) detects the position of three-dimensional image watching glasses(80). The control part assigns a bigger three-dimensional effect to an image displayed at a position symmetrical to the position of the three-dimensional image watching glasses with respect to the vertical center line of an image display part(10).
