A reinforcing device (1), notably for a die bottom incorporating a multitude of orifices from which glass filaments are drawn, comprises a reinforcing component which consists of a first hollow part (12) defining at least one reception housing and a second part (13) which extends at least partially over the length of the hollow part. It also includes a stiffening element (40), inserted in the reception housing, with a section that is essentially identical to the internal section of the hollow part.
