BAR COATING DEVICE AND A COATING METHOD FOR USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A bar coating device and a coating method using the same are provided to uniformly maintain a coating operation, and to partially coat a substrate without a separate mask process using a sub-stage which is combined with one side of a stage of the bar coating device. CONSTITUTION: A bar coating device includes a rotatable coating bar(30), a stage(10), and a sub-stage(20). The coating bar is in a shape of a cylinder. The stage loads and supports a coating target on a loading side, and a tapered part is formed on the stage. One lateral side of the tapered part is downwardly slanted from the loading side of the stage. The loading side of the stage and the upper side(21) of the sub-stage are formed on the same plane. The sub-stage further includes a height controllable device(22) which is controlled vertically to the loading side of the stage.
