PURPOSE: An intake air cooling system for a ship is provided to improve the efficiency of cooling intake air as the intake air compressed in a supercharger is cooled through multiple steps. CONSTITUTION: An intake air cooling system(1) for a ship comprises a supercharger(100), a first cooler(300), an absorption refrigeration machine(200), and a second cooler(400). The supercharger compresses the intake air from the outside using some of exhaust gas. The intake air is inhaled through the front end of the supercharger, and the compressed intake air is supplied to an engine through the rear part of the supercharger. The first cooler is placed along the flow of the intake air passing through the supercharger, and cools the intake air. The absorption refrigeration machine cools the first working fluid circulating in the first cooler. The second working fluid with a lower temperature than the temperature of the first working fluid circulates through the second cooler. |
